Pre-feasibility and feasibility studies:
We conduct pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for extensions to existing open pit operations and we evaluate the feasibility of new and/or proposed open pit operations.
We integrate with Mining House Project Teams during any planning stage, whether it is scoping, pre-feasibility or feasibility studies.
Mine Optimization:
We provide open pit optimization services (using NPV scheduler and Whittle software platforms), as part of our mine design and scheduling solutions. We use our open pit and underground mineable shape optimization capabilities to assess whether projects should progress to the next study phase or to conclude industry best practice project plans.
We furthermore conduct mining trade off studies to determine the most financially viable open pit mining method and production schedule for any ore body. We also optimize stockpile schedules to minimize re-handling and logistical challenges.
Mine Design & Scheduling:
ABGM believes that our highly specialized Mine Design service adds significant value within a Project Team environment, however, are equally accomplished at developing comprehensive studies independently if required. Our services include long term mine design and scheduling, short term mine design and scheduling and reserve reconciliation.
In addition, we optimize blending schedules in long term and short term applications. Our deliverables include the provision of all data in three dimensions together with specific bench plans indicating the mining and pushback sequence required to achieve the set production targets.
